Limited? He’s Limitless

Limited? He’s Limitless

Limited to Limitless

Reflections on Jeremiah 32 and Revelation 5

Are you staring at the ruins, the impossibilities, or the walls?

From where I stand, it feels like the end of the road. No hope, all doom and gloom.

limitations? Dead ends? Impossible?

Thank you God you see it all. He doesn’t see barred walls; He sees possibilities. And the reason He sees them is simple: because it is Him.

We are limited, but He is not.

He is not limited by our circumstances, our lack of resources, or our inability to see a way out.

Are you trapped by the noise of turbulence, limited resources or impossible situations.

Let God remind you and show you who He is and what He can do.

He is not stumped by the walls, limitations or roadblocks that we are staring at.

The Promise

As it says in Jeremiah 32:36 (NLT):

"Now I want to say something more about this city. You have been saying, 'It will fall to the king of Babylon through war, famine, and disease.' But this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I will certainly bring my people back again from all the countries where I will scatter them in my fury. I will bring them back to this very city and let them live in peace and safety."

See?…”I will”

The Authority

Are you overwhelmed by the noise, limitations?

John too was overwhelmed in Revelation 5…so overwhelmed he was crying, no hope, no possibilities.

Let’s look to the Throne, Revelation 5:5-6 (NLT):

"But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, 'Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.'

Then I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been slaughtered, but it was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders."

The Choice

God sees what we cannot. He performs what we cannot imagine.

So, we align ourselves…

We stop trusting our own eyes, stop weeping, start trusting His perspective, His promise - which sees the restoration.

As a Christian, we can take our hand, and we put it in His.

We let go of the need to understand every detail, and we let Him lead.

He is the Doer. He is the Creator. He is the King.

Trust Him.

He sees above it all.

Love,

Mary
